Supplements SA, now known as SSA Supplements, was founded in 1999 by pioneer Ewan Kromhout in Port Elizabeth. At the time, SSA Supplements was the first locally manufactured sports supplement brand in South Africa, paving the way for the thriving industry.

Ewan handed the reins of SSA to colleague and friend Everett Hand, who has led SSA Supplements into the new era of sports nutrition. After 25 years, SSA Supplements remains committed to continually innovating and bringing you the very best in sports nutrition.
